  • All bikes come with a helmet, lock, pump, puncture repair kit and trail map. Pannier bags, lights and high-visibility vests are also available at no extra cost subject to availability.
  • Payment via cash, advance internet banking or online credit card payment.
  • * We cover the cost of any damages incurred to the bike except for hires on our long term hire deals of 1 week or more.  A $100 refundable bond per bike also applies for these long term hires.
  • Cancellation policy: 90% refund at any stage of cancellation including same day (10% admin fee).  This only applies to pre-paid bookings.
     

Discounts

A $10 discount* per bike applies to the following groups of people:

  • Hawke's Bay Locals (proof of address and ID required)
  • Community Services card holders 
  • Gold Card holders
  • Student ID card holders 
  • Families with preschoolers

* discounts are unavailable public holidays/long weekends, and from Christmas to New Year.  School holidays are all good.

  • Prices are for a single pick up or drop off within 25km from Hastings Bicycle Hire and up to 5 bikes.
  • A Tandem counts as 2 bikes for pick up/drop off purposes.
  • The baby/toddler seats and any accessories do not incur any extra pick up/drop off charge.
  • Pick up/Drop off service is currently unavailable for more than 5 bikes.
